Yes, we provide breakfast and lunch, and snack for students in the after school program. Please go to the Meal Program page for more information on our Free and Reduced Lunch program.
Each year, families are responsible for volunteering service hours to the school. This helps us keep tuition as low as possible. If your student is in sports, there is a sports service hour requirement as well. Any un-fulfilled service hours at the end of the year will be charged in addition to tuition. There are numerous opportunities throughout the year for fulfilling the service hour requirements.
Yes, students take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) and the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT). These tests give an outside check on where the students are succeeding and struggling. The restults of these tests do not determine whether a student is promoted at the end of the year.
St. Pius V Catholic school has after school sports teams for students (5th-8th) to participate in. More information on our Athletics program can be found on the Athletic page.
Yes, we also provide affordable before/after school care from(6:30am-6:00pm). The application for after school care can be found under School Forms or at the school office.
St. Pius collaborates with Pasadena Independent School District to provide additional support and therapy. The services offered are not extensive and are on a case by case basis. Please bring your particular questions to the office or contact the school at email@example.com.
Many of our graduates go to local Catholic high schools such as St. Thomas, Cristo Rey, Incarnate Word Academy, St. Pius X, Strake Jesuit and St. Agnes. Students also attend local public schools.
